ABOUT THE DEAD POET, SPENCER WILSON

Spencer Wilson is a singer songwriter based out of Huddersfield, England. Playing original acoustic tracks, his songs range from indie pop-rock, to the folk, country and Americana genres. His musical influences include Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Johnny Cash, along with artists such as Nick Cave and Noel Gallagher. His song lyrics are influenced just as much by European and American literature.
Known as The Dead Poet, Spencer’s songs are often stories with the themes of love and hurt, nostalgia, hope and reflections running throughout. The Dead Poet is a concept of the song-writing voice within, feeding lyrics from mind to pen and paper.
Spencer is a husband and father, forever grateful for his family and friends.
