On behalf of Mayor Jeff Dodson and the Woodstock Town Council we are delighted to announce the 8th Annual “Light the Night” event happening Friday, Dec. 6 from 5-8PM at Town Hall. For 2024 the Town of Woodstock is expanding the event to include a tribute to “A Small Town Christmas,” making everything bigger, brighter, and more festive than ever!
Local business, civic and youth groups will be on site with tents decorated in the styles of a nostalgic “Small Town Christmas” to thrill the young at heart of all ages. in honor of the Spirit of Christmas, The Kelley Group will award one $1000.00 prize to a charity of the winner’s choice.
What to Expect:
- A spectacular Christmas tree lighting ceremony
- Holiday-themed tents with beautiful decorations (created by local businesses, and civic organizations)
- One tent will win the $1,000 Spirit of Christmas Donation to a local charity of their choice! (Prize sponsored by The Kelley Group, LLC.)
-Free photos with Santa
-Free train rides
-Christmas DJ
-Food and drink vendors including Urban Monkey Coffee Shop, Cake by the Slice, D’s Crazy Dogs, and Trackside BBQ.
